Measure the Conditions That Shape the Design
A practical guide to the measurements, building conditions, photographs and supporting information needed before a playground concept can be developed around the actual site.

For clients, architects, contractors and local project teams preparing site information before Beslepark begins concept planning or equipment layout work.
What to Measure and Submit Before Planning Begins
- Overall length and width
- Clear ceiling height
- Columns and structural elements
- Entrances and emergency exits
- Walls, windows and fixed facilities
- Power, fire protection and ventilation
- Access for delivery and installation
- Photos and video of the site
Create a Clear Record of the Actual Venue
Use measurement diagrams to explain the site without publishing or sharing a complete confidential project CAD. Dimensions should reference fixed building points and use one consistent unit.
Overall Length and Width
Measure every wall segment, recess, angled boundary and usable part of the proposed play area. Mark the measurement unit clearly.
Clear Ceiling Height
Record the finished floor-to-ceiling height and separately identify the lowest beam, duct, light or other overhead obstruction.
Columns and Structural Elements
Locate columns, beams, stairs and structural walls. Include their dimensions and distance from fixed reference points.
Entrances and Emergency Exits
Show entrance widths, door-opening directions, emergency exits and routes that must remain unobstructed.
Walls, Windows and Fixed Facilities
Mark glazing, service rooms, counters, electrical panels and other building elements that cannot be moved.
Power, Fire Protection and Ventilation
Indicate electrical points, sprinklers, detectors, lighting, air-conditioning outlets and ventilation ducts within or above the area.
Access for Delivery and Installation
Confirm unloading space, external and internal door sizes, lifts, corridors and the route from delivery point to the installation area.
Photos and Video Requirements
Provide wide photographs from every corner, close-ups of important obstructions and a continuous walkthrough video showing how the areas connect.
Site Measurement Checklist
Use this checklist to collect the dimensions, building conditions, access information, photographs and video needed for an initial site review.

Check the Information Before Uploading
- Use one consistent measurement unit
- Confirm dimensions reflect the current construction status
- Label ceiling height and lower obstructions separately
- Do not remove emergency routes or fixed facilities from the drawing
- Include photographs and a walkthrough video where possible
Upload Your Floor Plan and Site Details
Send your available floor plan, site dimensions and photographs so our project team can review the venue conditions and identify any information needed before planning begins.
- PDF floor plans or measurement sketches
- JPG, PNG or WebP site photographs
- Up to five files, maximum 10 MB per file
